Fundraising support that’s real

I’m Analiese, a fundraising consultant with nearly 20 years of hands-on experience in the charity sector.

I’ve led fundraising and communications for award-winning charities, scaled grassroots organisations, and built income streams from the ground up, often with limited resources, ambitious targets, and sleeves rolled permanently up.

I know what it’s like to be the only fundraiser in the room. To be part-strategist, part-relationship manager, part-event-planner, part-everything. To lead teams through change, uncertainty, growth, and somehow still keep the plates spinning.

If you want someone who can translate vision into action, build momentum from the ground up, and won’t flinch at messy CRMs or ghosting boards, you’re in the right place.

Whether you need quick strategic input, someone to hold the reins for a while, or a bit of clarity on where to go next — I offer services that flex to your needs and capacity

Services

  • I’ll work with you to step back from the day-to-day, make sense of what’s really driving (or blocking) your income, and agree where to focus your time and energy next. Together we’ll develop a practical fundraising plan that reflects your capacity, ambitions and context, and gives you confidence in the decisions you’re making.

This isn’t about producing a document that gathers dust. It’s about creating shared clarity, prioritising what will make the biggest difference, and setting you up with a strategy your team and board can actually use over the next 12–18 months and beyond.

  • Periods of change can be demanding, whether you’re recruiting, restructuring, growing quickly, or simply carrying too much without senior fundraising capacity in place. I can step in to provide clear, thoughtful leadership that keeps income moving, supports your team, and creates space for better decisions.

I have experience leading fundraising and communications teams through uncertainty, growth and change. I’ll be responsible for strategy and delivery, support and develop your staff team, and work closely with senior leadership and trustees to maintain confidence and momentum.

This is about more than holding the fort. It’s about leaving your organisation in a stronger place than when I arrived, with clearer direction, steadier systems, and a team that feels supported.

  • Stepping into a fundraising leadership role can feel isolating. You’re expected to set direction, manage people, influence up and down the organisation, and keep income growing, often without much space to think things through.

I offer structured mentoring for new or developing Heads or Directors of Fundraising who want a trusted thought partner. Someone who understands the realities of the role, has navigated similar pressures, and can offer perspective, challenge and reassurance in equal measure.

Our sessions create a safe, confidential space to test ideas, build leadership confidence, work through tricky situations, and develop a leadership style that feels authentic and sustainable.

  • Sometimes what’s needed isn’t a full strategy or long-term cover. It’s time, expertise and momentum on a specific piece of fundraising. I provide short-term, targeted support to help you shape and deliver priority projects without overstretching your team.

That might look like developing a compelling corporate partnership offer, sense-checking a major campaign, reviewing your fundraising approach, or carrying out a practical fundraising health check to identify quick wins and longer-term opportunities.

I work quickly, thoughtfully and in a way that fits your organisation, bringing clarity, structure and momentum, while keeping things realistic and achievable for the people who’ll be taking it forward.

No jargon. No 18-month timelines.

Just focused, flexible fundraising support.

Who I’ve Worked With

Any questions?

  • I mainly work with small and medium-sized charities, typically with annual income between £250k and £5M, where teams are lean and roles are often stretched. That’s where my experience is best placed and where I can add the most value.

That said, I’ve supported organisations both larger and smaller than this. If you’re values-led, open to collaboration, and looking to build something sustainable, I’m always happy to have a chat.

  • Both. I work across fixed-term projects, short strategic sprints, and monthly retainers — depending on what will be most useful for your organisation and capacity at that point in time.

We’ll always agree the scope, focus and outcomes upfront, so the support feels purposeful rather than open-ended.

  • Most of my work is scoped by project. I offer some flexibility for grassroots or early-stage organisations. Get in touch to discuss what you need.

  • My capacity varies month-to-month. Best to drop me a line — if I’m not available, I’ll happily refer you to someone trusted in my network.
